Following a great response from our last collaboration with London based vocalist Sulene Fleming, we are very pleased to release this new single that see's some of Sulene Flemings back catalogue selected and reworked injecting some of that edge that hails from the Broadcite production camp.
On this project we see some top remix action by producer Daz I kue [Bugs in the attic], DJ Uchikawa [Loft Soul] + T-Roy [Broadcite] who have all deconstructed the original unreleased version and given their own distinct musical direction, with the aim to creating a fusion of compositions on this release offering a melting pot sounds ranging from Nu jazz to more upfront Broken vibes.

Bio :

Sulene Fleming is a versatile singer & songwriter based in London.

Her sound is predominantly rooted in soul and funk but she frequently takes influence from multiple genres like Jazz, Blues and Rock and also lends her style into the soulful house & dance market.

Her exciting style balances the raw with the refined, Being compared to the likes of Phyllis Hyman, Chaka Khan, Tina Turner & Nina Simone.

Her modern yet old school approach and show-stopping presence as a performer with considerable charisma has been wowing audiences around the UK & Europe. 

Sulene has supported The God Fathers of Groove, Bernard Purdie, Reuben Wilson, Larry Graham & The Grand Central Station to name a few and performed at An Evening with  Quincy Jones at The Britten Theatre (Royal College Of Music )

With Live performances on the Craig Charles funk & Soul Show( BBC 6 Music )and Robert Elms show (BBC london)

So far In 2015 Sulene has two new releases, The new album ‘Loveland’ By Vangelder/Fleming which is a collaboration between Sulene and Nick Van Gelder( former Jamiroquai drummer) which is out on VeeGee Records & is in the top 10 in the UK soul charts.

There will be a single release from the album that will be out in the summer along with Remixes and a music video.

’The Rhythm’ is the second single release from Sulene on Broadcite Music with remixes from T-Roy DJ Uchikawa and Daz I Kue.

Sulene is continuing to write for new projects with various collaborators.

Future releases include A new album and an EP that will be released later in 2015.
